FAQ
Services
What is 360HomeAudit?
We are a multidisciplinary firm offering Technical Auditing, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Design Services, and Civil Engineering Mentorship Programs. Whether you’re a homeowner, contractor, or civil engineering student—we’ve got something for you.
Are you registered with any government body or authority?
While we are not a SEBI-registered entity (as we don’t deal with financial instruments), our operations follow industry best practices and adhere to IS codes, NBC guidelines, and state building norms.
What kind of services do you provide?
Here’s what we offer:
- Structural and site technical audits
- PMC (Project Management Consultancy) for residential and commercial projects
- Architecture, structural, and interior design solutions
- Mentorship programs for civil engineering students and young professionals
Do you offer online services?
Yes! Most of our mentorship programs and design consultations are available online. For audits and PMC, physical visits are required based on project scope and location.
How do I subscribe to a mentorship or audit service?
Easy! Just head to our website (https://360homeaudit.com), choose your service, fill out the contact form or make the booking, and we’ll get in touch. You can also call or email us directly.
What kind of documentation is required to start an audit or design project?
We typically need:
- Building/site plans (if available)
- Site location details
- Scope of work (what you expect)
- Photographs/videos of the project site
For mentorship, we only require your educational background and area of interest.
Do I need to be present at the site during an audit or PMC service?
While not mandatory, it’s always better if the owner or a trusted representative is present. It helps in explaining specific concerns and receiving instant feedback from our team.
Pricing & Process
How much does a Home Inspection cost?
Costs depend on the size of the property, location, and service scope. Generally, our standard inspection packages start from ₹2,999 for flats and go upwards based on square foot and specific services required (e.g., thermal imaging, moisture meter testing, etc.).
How can I book an inspection?
Just visit https://360homeaudit.com, or call us at +91-6295204768. You can select your preferred date and time, and our team will confirm the appointment. We also offer WhatsApp and email booking support.
Who performs the inspection?
All inspections are conducted by qualified civil engineers and trained professionals with real estate experience in building pathology and quality control.
How long does an inspection take?
Most apartment inspections take 5 to 8 hours. Villas, duplexes, or commercial properties may require more time based on size and complexity.
I live outside the city / I’m an NRI. Can I get inspection done remotely?
Yes. Many of our clients are NRIs or out-of-town investors. You can share keys with a caretaker or sales team, and we’ll conduct the inspection, send photos, videos, and a detailed report digitally. You can also book a video call walkthrough.
Can I share this report with my builder or legal consultant? Will it hold value?
Absolutely. Our reports are used as third-party documentation to negotiate rectifications with builders. While they are not legal certificates, they serve as visual evidence that can support your case.
How do I ensure the builder takes my inspection report seriously?
The builder is legally bound to address construction issues under the RERA defect liability clause (within 5 years). Our professional report, combined with a formal letter or email submission, increases your negotiation power significantly.
Is the inspection relevant for rental flats or resale properties?
Yes. Inspection helps detect hidden issues like leakage, faulty wiring, pest-prone gaps, etc., which can lead to future expenses. Tenants can use our report to negotiate rent or maintenance, and buyers can avoid poor investment decisions.
I’m buying a new flat. Should I get it inspected even if it’s RERA registered?
Yes. RERA registration doesn’t guarantee quality. Builders are liable under Section 14(3) of the RERA Act, 2016 to fix structural and workmanship defects for 5 years.
Legal Note: 360HomeAudit provides visual audit and non-legal defect identification. We do not file RERA complaints or act as legal representatives.
Will your inspection help me claim warranty/defect liability from the builder?
Yes, many clients have successfully used our detailed reports to claim post-possession repairs.
Legal Note: We assist only with technical identification, not with formal legal drafting or builder negotiations.
Are you certified to issue occupancy certificates or safety clearance?
No. These documents must be issued by the municipality or Concern Authority.
Legal Note: 360HomeAudit does not issue any legally binding building approvals.
What is NOT included in the report?
We do not evaluate legal title, land documents, valuation, or hidden underground defects unless visibly exposed. We also don’t cover pest inspections unless opted as an add-on.
Will the inspection predict the future life of the building?
Not exactly. A home inspection identifies current condition and visible defects. While it may indicate risk areas, it doesn’t provide long-term durability forecasts or life expectancy unless a structural engineer assessment is specially requested.
Special Situations
What if the inspection reveals severe flaws?
If major structural defects or safety risks are found, we’ll highlight them with urgency in the report. Clients can use this information to negotiate with builders, delay purchase, or request rectification. We can also provide repair consulting at additional cost.
Should I have a Home Inspection for a resale or rented property?
Yes, absolutely. Older buildings are more likely to have seepage, weakening materials, loose fixtures, and hidden cracks. A pre-purchase or pre-rent inspection gives you clarity before investing.
Is it necessary to get permission from the builder/owner for an inspection?
Yes. If the property is not registered in your name yet, written or verbal permission from the builder, seller, or landlord is recommended, especially for occupied properties.
Timing & Suitability
When should I schedule a Home Inspection?
Ideally:
- Before possession from builder
- Before resale property purchase
- Before or after major renovation
- Before renting out or renting in
Who should be present during the inspection?
It’s ideal if the buyer, owner, or any authorized person is available. This helps in clarifying doubts in real-time and showing us any areas of concern.
Are home inspections really worth the money?
Yes! A ₹3,000–₹15,000 inspection can help you avoid ₹50,000+ in repair costs or legal disputes down the line. It’s a small investment for peace of mind.
Rescheduling, Cancellation & After-Service
What happens if I want to cancel my inspection?
You can cancel up to 48 hours before the appointment with partial refund eligibility. Cancellations after that may result in a service fee as per our Cancellation Policy.
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem! You can reschedule once at no extra cost, provided you inform us at least 24 hours in advance.
What if the inspection doesn't happen as scheduled?
If we are unable to conduct the inspection due to unforeseen reasons (weather, access denied, technical issue), we will reschedule at the earliest available slot or provide a full refund.
After the Inspection
Will I get a detailed report?
Yes. You’ll receive a PDF report within 24–48 hours, including photos, remarks, recommendations, and summary of major/minor defects.
Can I request further consultation after the inspection?
Absolutely. You can opt for a post-inspection call or site visit to discuss repair options, contractor suggestions, or design improvements.
Is 360HomeAudit affiliated with any builder, landlord, or contractor?
No. We are a completely independent service provider. We do not endorse, promote, or partner with any real estate company, landlord, or builder. This ensures full neutrality and trust in our reporting.
Compliance, Safety & Certification
Can your report be submitted as part of a legal dispute or consumer complaint?
While our reports are professionally drafted and photo-supported, they are not legal certifications. However, many clients use our documentation as supporting evidence in disputes with builders or landlords. We can also refer you to registered engineers for notarized or affidavit-backed documentation.
Post-Inspection & Long-Term Support
Can your report be submitted as part of a legal dispute or consumer complaint?
Yes. While we don’t directly execute repairs, we offer Repair Consulting—which includes suggesting specifications, cost estimation, and contractor vetting assistance. In select cities, we may recommend verified vendors.
Do you provide re-inspection after rectification work is done?
Yes! Many clients book a post-repair follow-up inspection to ensure that the corrections were properly carried out. We offer discounted re-inspection packages if booked within 30 days of the original report.
Can I track project progress remotely through your PMC service?
Yes, we offer digital project updates via WhatsApp, emails, and client dashboards. Weekly progress reports, photos, timelines, and quality checklists are shared regularly so you can monitor remotely.
What happens if the builder denies access during inspection?
We’ll coordinate with you and the builder to reschedule. If entry is repeatedly denied after confirmed appointments, we will issue a partial refund minus service/coordination charges, as per our cancellation policy.
Business & Bulk Services
Do you offer bulk inspections for real estate developers, housing societies, or institutional clients?
Yes, we have separate service tiers for:
- Bulk flat inspections for developers (pre-handover)
- Society maintenance audits
- Corporate property evaluations
Pricing and timeline are customized based on volume and complexity.
Do you offer white-label or partner services for architects or builders?
Yes, we offer partner plans where architects, builders, and consultants can integrate our inspection services into their own offering. Custom branding, white-label reports, and priority scheduling are available for partners.
Relevant Laws (for Client Reference):
- Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) RERA protects homebuyers and regulates builders. Home inspection reports can be used as supporting documentation in complaints under RERA, but 360HomeAudit does not file or represent any legal RERA case.
- Indian Contract Act, 1872 If there’s a dispute between buyer and builder, the sale agreement falls under this act. We do not intervene legally.
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019 Customers can raise disputes in consumer courts based on builder negligence. Our report may help, but we do not appear in consumer court nor issue legal affidavits.
Home inspection is purely advisory and falls outside the scope of legal certification under any of these laws.
Mentorship & Training
What topics are covered in your Civil Engineering Mentorship Program?
We cover:
- Site execution training
- Quantity estimation & BOQ
- Project coordination techniques
- Career guidance and resume building
Both recorded and live sessions are available.
Will the mentorship program help me get a job?
We don’t offer job placement or guarantees, but we provide industry-level training, real-world project exposure, and guidance on how to improve your chances in the job market.
How is your mentorship different from YouTube or Udemy courses?
We go beyond tutorials. Our sessions include live projects, Q&A, one-on-one sessions, site case studies, and feedback. Plus, you’ll interact directly with industry-experienced engineers, not just content creators.
Will I get placement after your course?
We do not promise placement, but we do offer career guidance, resume help, interview tips, and referrals to our network of hiring partners and consultants.
Can I use this certificate for government job applications?
No. Our certification is non-governmental and is not valid for AICTE/UGC-based applications. It is, however, a strong portfolio asset for private jobs and internships.
I’m a diploma/B.tech student. Will I benefit from this course?
100%! Many of our trainees are diploma holders or fresh graduates. Our course is practical and field-focused, bridging the gap between college theory and real-world application.
Can working professionals join your mentorship program?
Yes. We offer evening/weekend batches, recorded sessions, and flexible schedules to accommodate working engineers or site supervisors looking to upskill.
Can your mentorship help me become a licensed contractor or engineer?
No. You must hold an approved degree/diploma and register with local engineering councils.
Will this program help in PSU or government exams?
It helps in understanding technical concepts, but the certificate has no legal/official value in such exams.
Can your certificate be added in employment resumes?
Yes, for private jobs or freelance work. Many HR teams accept skill-based certifications if verified.
Can I claim refund or legal action if I don’t get a job after your course?
No. We offer learning services, not placement guarantees. Refunds are policy-based, not enforceable via law.
Is there any copyright on your training materials?
Yes. All materials are protected under Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Unauthorized reproduction is a legal violation.
Do you issue certificates with serial numbers and trainer credentials?
Yes. Our certificates include trainer name, duration, and unique ID.
Relevant Laws (for Client Reference):
- The University Grants Commission Act, 1956 This governs degree-granting institutions. 360HomeAudit is not UGC approved, so our training is purely skill-based.
- AICTE Norms (for technical education) We do not fall under AICTE as we are not an educational institute or polytechnic.
Bottom Line: Our mentorship is for knowledge development only and does not lead to a certified diploma or license to practice.
Design & PMC Services
What types of design services do you provide?
We offer:
- 2D Floor Plans
- 3D Elevation and Interior Design
- Structural Design & Detailing
Conceptual Landscape & Vastu Design
All designs are tailored to your site conditions and preferences.
Do you help with building plan approvals?
We can assist and guide you through the approval process, but we are not a municipal authority. We’ll help prepare the required drawings and documentation.
How do PMC services work with 360HomeAudit?
We provide end-to-end project monitoring, contractor coordination, site supervision, and progress reporting. We ensure your project runs on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.
I have a local contractor. Why do I need PMC separately?
Local contractors often work without full transparency. PMC ensures project planning, milestone tracking, quality control, and cost checks. Think of PMC as your project guardian — keeping everything on schedule, within budget, and up to standards.
I’m building my house while staying in another city. Can PMC help remotely?
Yes! We provide regular progress reports, photos/videos, bill verification, and online consultations. This keeps you informed and in control, even from afar.
Can PMC help me identify overbilling or material fraud?
Yes. We review material delivery slips, quantity estimates, and actual site use to flag inconsistencies. Our experience helps clients avoid 10–15% cost leakage on average.
What makes 360HomeAudit’s PMC different from a local supervisor?
We’re a professional, organized team of engineers — not just “mistris” or site in-charge. We use documentation, BOQs, reports, checklists, and software-based monitoring, offering a higher level of transparency and efficiency.
What’s the difference between your design service and a local architect?
We provide customized, budget-sensitive designs with a pan-India understanding of material availability and regional aesthetics. We also offer digital consultations, remote revisions, and integration with PMC for smoother execution.
Can I get 3D walkthroughs or renders to show my family before construction?
Yes. We offer 3D renders, walk-throughs, and interior visualization so your family can preview and suggest changes early. This avoids confusion at the execution stage.
Do you provide Vastu-based designs?
Yes. On request, we integrate Vastu principles with modern design logic — optimizing light, ventilation, and energy flow while keeping structural feasibility in mind.
Will your structural design be accepted by my local authority?
Only if verified and signed by a licensed structural engineer in your city. We can collaborate with your local engineer or refer one from our partner network.
Can you help optimize my design to reduce construction cost?
Definitely. We offer cost-smart designs with minimal wastage, modular layouts, and material-efficient planning, helping you save 10–20% without compromising aesthetics.
Does PMC give me legal protection if the contractor makes mistakes?
No. PMC services are technical and advisory in nature. Legal protection depends on your contract agreement with the builder/contractor.
Legal Note: 360HomeAudit is not legally liable for site execution done by third-party vendors.
Are you legally responsible for site accidents or safety issues?
No. Site safety falls under the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, 1996, and must be ensured by the owner/contractor.
Legal Note: We may recommend safety practices, but we are not legally accountable for site labor law compliance.
Can you certify bills or quantities for bank loans or audits?
No. We provide internal verification, not official QS certification. For legal valuations, hire a government-approved valuer.
Legal Note: Our BOQ reports are for client reference only, and hold no legal audit validity.
Are your designs approved for submission to the local municipality?
No. Our team prepares conceptual and working designs, but municipal drawings must be signed by a licensed architect/structural engineer.
Legal Note: 360HomeAudit provides non-stamped designs. For legal submission, a local licensed architect’s signature is required.
Do you provide legally approved structural drawings?
Not directly. We create base-level structural layouts, which must be verified and signed by a certified structural engineer.
Legal Note: Under National Building Code (NBC), 2016, only licensed professionals can issue legally valid structural documentation.
Can your Vastu-compliant plans be used in legal disputes (e.g., builder deviations)?
No. Vastu layouts are personal preference-based, not legally binding.
Legal Note: Our designs hold no legal enforceability in disputes.
Are your designs legally valid for municipal submission?
No. Only a licensed architect or structural engineer (registered with Council of Architecture or local body) can sign submission drawings.
Do you provide drawings as per National Building Code (NBC)?
Yes. Our technical team follows NBC 2016 guidelines, including space planning, safety, and ventilation rules — but does not submit on your behalf.
Are your designs Vastu compliant legally?
No law governs Vastu. It’s a cultural practice, not a legal requirement. We offer Vastu layouts only on request.
Can your structural design be used for safety clearance?
Not unless signed off by a licensed structural engineer recognized by the development authority.
Are your drawings valid under the RERA Act?
Only if signed and submitted by an approved architect/engineer. We support design development — not compliance filing.
Can I use your design report in case of construction defect disputes?
Partially. Our design report may show flaws, but legal disputes require engineer affidavits or approved plan comparisons.
Are you registered under the Council of Architecture (COA)?
No. We collaborate with COA-registered architects when needed, but 360HomeAudit is not COA-licensed.
Do your plans comply with local DCR (Development Control Regulations)?
We follow DCR principles, but the final responsibility for compliance lies with your architect and local municipal authority.
Are fire safety norms included in your plan?
We follow DCR principles, but the final responsibility for compliance lies with your architect and local municipal authority.
Does PMC service carry legal accountability under Indian contract law?
No. We are not a contractor. As per the Indian Contract Act, 1872, legal accountability lies between the client and the contractor, not PMC.
Can you legally represent me in contractor disputes?
No. We can advise and document mismanagement, but legal representation must be handled by a lawyer.
Who is liable for site worker accidents — contractor, owner, or PMC?
Liability falls under the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, 1996, and typically applies to the contractor or project owner, not PMC.
Can you verify material bills for tax or audit purposes?
No. Only registered chartered accountants or cost auditors can certify bills legally. We offer internal project monitoring, not tax compliance.
Can your site reports be used in arbitration with contractors?
Yes, as supporting documentation. They can show poor execution, delay, or quality issues. Final resolution must happen through arbitration/legal counsel.
Are you registered under any central PMC licensing body?
India currently has no central PMC licensing system. Our engineers follow IS standards, but legal authority is limited.
Can your team certify building completion for occupancy certificate (OC)?
No. OC must be issued by local municipal authorities. Only registered architects/engineers can submit necessary documents.
Are PMC reports binding on contractors legally?
No. Our reports are observational & advisory. Binding terms depend on your contractor agreement. We help you monitor, not enforce.
Do you help draft legal contracts with vendors?
No. We suggest clauses, but legal drafting must be done by a certified advocate or contract specialist.
Is 360HomeAudit liable under the Indian Labour Law?
No. We suggest clauses, but legal drafting must be done by a certified advocate or contract specialist.
Relevant Laws (for Client Reference):
- The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996
For any labour/workforce-related compliance, the builder/contractor is responsible, not PMC. 360HomeAudit does not hold any legal liability under this act. - Factories Act, 1948 / Indian Labour Laws
Applicable for large industrial construction sites. We do not provide compliance under these acts.
Our PMC is for technical coordination only, and not a statutory supervisory role under any construction labor law.
Relevant Laws (for Client Reference):
- National Building Code (NBC) of India, 2016
Governs design safety and building layout rules. We follow NBC guidelines in our designs, but approval and compliance depend on submission by registered architects or structural engineers. - Town and Country Planning Acts (varies by state)
State-level laws for construction approval. We don’t file plans or interact with development authorities. - Environment Protection Act, 1986 (for large sites only)
Not applicable to small residential designs. But for large sites, environmental clearance may be needed (which we do not provide).
Bottom Line: Our design work is not a substitute for approved architectural or structural documentation under any urban development or municipal act.
Payments, Refunds & Policies
What is your pricing structure?
Pricing varies by service. We charge per sq. ft. for design, per visit or project slab for audits/PMC, and fixed fees for mentorship. Get in touch for a custom quote.
Do you offer refunds or cancellations?
Yes, as per our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. Recorded sessions and services already delivered are non-refundable. For eligible cases, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
Do you charge a performance or success fee?
